Elysa Corin

Elysa Corin, Ph.D. is a Senior Researcher with the Institute for Learning Innovation. Her work focuses on the interest-driven and free-choice learning of science, as well as the environments and resources that support self-directed learning, particularly for teens and adults. She has experience collaborating with and designing for youth, teachers, and STEM professionals. She is a former educator and program manager with Morehead Planetarium and Science Center and has previously worked as an embedded researcher in a department of practitioners at the Exploratorium. Dr. Corin has a Ph.D. in Science Education from North Carolina State University, and a B.A. in Physics with minor concentrations in Environmental Studies and Astronomy from Dartmouth College.
